H. Mehmet KAYILI holds the position of Associate Professor at the Engineering Faculty within the Medical Engineering Department at Karabuk University. He was born in Çankırı/Ilgaz in 1985 and obtained his M.S. degree from Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) in 2009. He went on to complete his Ph.D. at Hacettepe University in 2016. Between 2014 and 2015, KAYILI served as a visiting researcher at the VU of Amsterdam. His academic journey continued as he joined Karabuk University as an assistant professor in the Biomedical Engineering Department in 2018, eventually achieving the rank of associate professor in 2022.

Dr. Kayılı’s research interests encompass various areas, including the development of bioanalytical methods for mass spectrometry-based glycomics and glycoproteomics, clinical glycomics and glycoproteomics, nutritional glycomics, and the application of machine learning techniques. Throughout his career, H. Mehmet KAYILI has been actively involved in overseeing multiple research projects funded by TUBİTAK and the Karabuk University Scientific Research Unit.
